Ok, it’s time for the fun part. We’re going to start running ads, bringing in sales calls for your business and closing clients. Let’s get into it.
Why Facebook? 🤔
Some of you may have come into the program to learn YouTube ads & to scale your business with YouTube. That’s fine, and we’ll get to YouTube ads soon.
What you have hopefully realized by now, though, is that the specific ad platform you run ads on doesn’t matter that much—it’s more down to having a strong offer, funnel & business.
When you have these 3 things in place (which you should have by now) you will be able to clean up, regardless of the ad platform you choose to run ads on.
The reality is that Facebook is easier to start with than YouTube because:
Don’t get me wrong here. YouTube is an awesome ad platform. ****Personally, I like it better than Facebook. I much prefer running ads on YouTube. It’s more stable than Facebook, it’s easier to scale, it’s easier to run and the interface is more intuitive.
However, it’s a bit more advanced and takes some getting used to.
Plus, it will take slightly longer to get working in some cases and it’s a bit more complicated to setup, because there’s several additional steps you need to take to get it working.
All of this to say — just start with Facebook.
We’ll validate your VSL and offer there first, and we’ll scale from there and add in YouTube and other platforms to get you to $500k/month and beyond.
To reiterate, though, if you have already validated your offer and you have Facebook working well and scaling, then you can go straight to the YouTube ads training.
The Secret To Ads 🤫
The secret to ads is not a targeting trick or a magic button in the business manager.
It’s everything we’ve already discussed up to now — having a strong high-ticket offer, the right business structure, a killer funnel and a great sales process.
If you have all of these things in place, getting ads working will be easy.
When you have ads that are not working, it’s rarely down to the ads and the targeting, it’s almost always because of a weak offer and/or funnel.
So now that’s out of the way, you’re going to have a much easier time getting your ads working and scaling your business to $100k/month and beyond.
The Key To Facebook 🔑
Now, looking beyond the business structure, funnel and offer, there is one major key to running successful Facebook ads, which is the creative.
Creative is the 80/20 of Facebook advertising. If you have strong ad creatives, you can do almost everything else wrong (or poorly) and still have massive success on the platform.
Targeting on Facebook is not rocket science, and if you have great ads, you can actually use no targeting or Advantage+ targeting, which we’ll talk about in the program and get insane results.
There’s no need to geek out on Facebook targeting, it’s extremely simple.
With Facebook advertising, we use a process called Creative-Based Targeting (CBT). The creative should call out and/or speak to a very specific person (i.e. your target customer) and the Facebook algorithm will find that person for you.
In other words, your creative is your targeting.
This is the new paradigm on Facebook. So as you go through this training, remember that creative is the key and don’t get too hung up on anything else—put 80% of your time, energy and effort into your creatives.
