It’s about setting up the Google ads tracking tags, which are analogous to the Facebook ads pixel. Make sure you watch this video and follow along carefully. Google tracking is different to Facebook tracking and critically important to the performance of your ad account.

How GA Tracking Works ⚙️👇

Unlike Meta, Google has TWO tracking codes that you will have to install.

Global Tag → Goes on every single page in your funnel

Event Snippet → Goes on the URL the user hits when they convert on an event

Checklist → VSL Conversion Actions ✅

• [ ] Click “Goals” on the left of the screen
• [ ] Click “Conversions” on the bar immediately to the right
• [ ] Then click “Summary” at the top
• [ ] Then click “New conversion action”
• [ ] Enter your funnel URL then click “scan”
• [ ] More boxes and text will pop up below the “scan” box
• [ ] Scroll down to Create Conversion Actions Manually Using Code
• [ ] Then click “Add A Conversion Action Manually”
• [ ] Then click “Select Category”
• [ ] Then click “Contact”
• [ ] Under Conversion Name, type “Opt-In”
